$8,000.00 + A NEW $6,500.00 TAX CREDIT Mid November, President Obama signed the bill extending the $8,000.00 tax credit for first time home buyers to April 30, 2010. Plus, there is a new tax credit of $6,500, for existing home owners wanting to change their primary residence. To qualify for either tax credit, buyers will need to live in the replacement home for 3 years with incomes under $125 thousand for individuals and $225 thousand for married couples.
