Jumbo Loan Limits Increased in SLO CountyMarch 5, 2008, HUD raised the mortgage guaranteed limits from $417,000 to $687,500, based on SLO County’s median price of $550,000. The change is part of the economic-stimulus-package that temporarily increases the limit on FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac backed loans. So, if you have a home loan over $417,000 you may want to consider refinancing.
